Today was one of those days where virtually nothing at all got done - a nice change and not something I regret (at least not right now, I'm sure I will as exam season approaches). I sorted through my folders and papers that accumulated throughout the first two blocks, had a very brief clean up in my room and watched some further episodes of 'Junior Doctors: Blood, Sweat and Tears' - I'm starting to warm up to the cast a bit actually, they seem to genuinely care very much about the patients they deal with. It's nice to see them all show their own individual quirks too, rather than behave like faceless drones within a system.
In the evening myself and a housemate decided to relax by wasting a few hours on a videogame, something neither of us have done since arriving due to the workload. Because we're now technically in holiday time we felt a lot less guilty about it - Mario Party 6 and Cuphead: Don't Deal with The Devil were the choices for the night. The latter is rather difficult indeed but features a great soundtrack and beautiful hand-drawn animations reminiscent of a 1930s cartoon. Would highly recommend it to any fan of 2D platformers.
