Day 166 - Last Case of Block 4 (08/03/2018)

We entered the last CBL case of Block 4 this morning, with the patient reporting unilateral hand pain which has caused them to drop things. It was another case where we have a sneaking suspicion of what it might be but make an effort to entertain all the other possibilities we could think of, which is probably more beneficial for our learning on the whole - plus in practice that sort of attitude is what likely would make you miss certain things.

We spent a lot of time going over the anatomy of the forearm and hand (my colleague above illustrated the muscles of the anterior compartment of the forearm) - I myself focused on the intrinsic muscles of the hand itself, particularly focusing on their innervation.
